What to Expect When You Start Private Coaching (4/5)

Before we even get rolling, a little “full disclosure”: what happens here at Power Player HQ is a far cry from anything you’ll find in typical coaching. 

There are no vanilla group programs, no endless Zoom setups with “accountability partners”, no tired “what are your SMART goals” worksheets, and definitely no surface-level pep talks.

Our process is deeply individual, kind of messy (but on purpose), and ruthlessly focused on building your power where it counts. 

If you haven’t yet, go back and read about how to choose a coach and what to do before you hire one—because yes, our methods are dialed to bring out the best in those they’re meant for…but they’re not everyone’s cup of nut blend latte with a double shot.

Alright, get comfy and lemme walk you through this.

It’s entering my “Power Player playground”—the inner space where we bin traditional coaching templates and build something bespoke, tailored only to you.

This is a 12-month, head-to-head, soul-level partnership where you become the centre of my universe (ask anyone who’s been here—they’ll tell you straight, I’m intense.)

So it’s you and me with your wildest ambitions, your sharpest edges, and your greatest struggles—and all of it’s laid on the table. I go all-in, and I expect you to do the same.

What follows isn’t a neatly packaged curriculum or a content treadmill—it’s my signature, fiercely personalised roadmap for building up solo Players to the level of bolder, smarter, well-paid, untouchable leader in their space.

And yes, that result is on purpose: this program is designed so that everyone who makes it through emerges stronger, sharper, and way more powerful than they ever thought they could be when they arrived

1. First, let’s talk about How You Get In (And Why Most Don’t)

I’ll start by asking you to fill in a quick but revealing form to let me know, “There’s a potential Power Player at the door.” You want in? Prove to yourself that you’re ready and answer these questions. If you can’t answer the questions, the PDP isn’t for you just yet.

If your answers make me excited, I invite you to a Power Session—a deep and candid conversation. We’ll talk about who you are, what you’re building, what you actually want, and how you like to work. No elevator pitches, no pre-empting objections, no poker face—just honesty.

I’ll tell you straight if I don’t think my coaching is the right fit (I’ll even point you to someone better suited for your style—no hard feelings, only progress).

If both of us say “HELL YEAH,” a formal invitation lands in your inbox—and you’ve got 48 hours to accept. After which, the door closes, and I offer the spot to the next contender. (This isn’t “FOMO”—this is about making room for those who are truly ready. If that’s not you, that’s fine, and you can always come back and talk to me when you feel like you are.)

When you accept, we schedule your Power Player Kick-Off Call to lock in serious momentum from day one.

2. Then, We Move on to The Power Player Kick-Off Call

No surface talk, no stalling. Sure, we’ll do the friendly bit, but we’ll also dive right in: your bold aspirations, your biggest headaches, hard-won wins, and the lost battles that are still bugging you to this day. We’re gonna talk through all of it.

We then decide together how we’ll communicate in between our FULLY non-negotiable live call sessions. Whether you prefer email, voice note, old-fashioned SMS, WhatsApp, Voxer, LinkedIn, or Insta DMs? Choose until your heart is content or mix and match—our process is built around you and your life.

Finally, at this stage, we set the date for your all-important “Unravel Session” (this is the secret sauce to every Power Player transformation, and I ADORE doing them).

3. So let’s talk about the “Unravel” Session

This is 3 hours (yep, THREE hours straight) of raw, real, off-the-cuff conversation. This isn’t simply a “get-to-know-you.” It’s a deep excavation. I’ll ask about everything—the wild highs, the ugly lows, the turning points, and the magic moments you almost forgot between you being born into this world, and you sitting here today.

There’s no prep for this, no homework to do and nothing to rehearse beforehand; just show up ready to tell your story even if you don’t think you’ve got it straight in your mind. I’ll ask you plenty of relaxed and informal questions to make sure we cover everything. Our three-hour session is filmed, but only so I can watch it back to study your language patterns and your body language, so I can pinpoint exactly what fires you up, and what dampens your spirit.

From this, I enter full lab mode and custom-build a Power Playbook for you. This includes your entire positioning, perspective, product strategy, and offer stack, along with some punchy, ready-to-go copy for your site and social media, to help you frame your “next era” with confidence and style. I’m setting you up to win from the get-go. This is not shelfware. It’s a living, breathing blueprint to your success, as dictated by you, and it’s so unique that only one will ever exist. (Yep, yours.)

4. From then on, you have real, On-Call Access (for 12 Months Minimum)

Armed with your highly personalised playbook, we’re partners for at least a full year. You have as much time with me as you need, with scheduled face-to-face calls at least every two weeks.

You also have true 24/7 direct access via WhatsApp, Voxer, or wherever you work best. You hit a wall, you ping—whether it’s 2PM or 2AM, and strategy and support will arrive (sometimes with sass, always with solutions).

There are no comparison games, no group distractions, you’re never bundled in with anyone else—this is a private line directly to my brain, so you’re always making good decisions and moving forward.

5. During our time together, that To-Do list that was once redundant becomes your ultimate launch pad

Every week, we build your focus list together—there’s no flaky “why don’t you journal on it for three months and see how you feel” nonsense. We’ve got stuff to do. And whether you thrive in deep sprints or daily micro-bursts, we tailor every action to fit YOU.

The lists we create are hands-on, actionable, and tailored to your specific work style. Every milestone is shaped by our conversations, along with my real feedback and opinion as a consultant, not just a coach.

- Our outputs are completely Custom: You will never see a recycled template, a “90-day miracle” worksheet, or some PDF I snagged off an “bizfluencer.” Every single move, milestone, and method is tailored to your quirks, ambitions, and edges—so you can’t hide, but also, you won’t want to.

- We’ll Build Plans and Torch Them—On Purpose: We create your game plan together, then break it the minute you outgrow it. This isn’t a linear journey; it’s adaptive—a real-time upgrade loop. That means if you’re looking for endless stability, you’ll need to go somewhere else. With me, you’ll get agility, velocity, and the confidence to scrap a plan at noon and build a new one by happy hour.

- Your Wins are our Wins. And your Flops are our Fuel: When you smash it, we celebrate (often loud, maybe with a playlist). When you fall flat, that becomes the data for your biggest future power moves. I’m deeply, sometimes unreasonably, invested in your success—and, yes, I expect you to be just as invested in your success too.

- It’s Never, Ever Guru and Follower: This is side-by-side, sleeves-rolled-up, co-equal partnership. I’m not here to anoint, rescue, or “empower” you with empty words—I’m here to co-create, challenge, and chase down YOUR boldest business transformation. You’ll get called in and called up. You’ll be encouraged, but never coddled. You want “safe space”? I can give you that, but you can’t stay there because I’m also giving you a stage to test your power in real time.

- With me, you’ll Get Fluency in “Fast and Messy”: So If you’re still clutching your outline for “How to Finally Become Perfect,” leave it in the cloakroom, you won’t need that here. Real edge is found in scrappy action, not sparkly vision boards. Around here, we move quick, iterate quicker, and then we laugh at every stalled attempt that becomes a stepping stone.

- Finally, and Fair Warning: You WILL Start to Like the Sting: The edge, the push, the realisation that comes with openness and willingness to shift your perspective—if you lean in, you’ll find these become addictive. You’ll intentionally look for bigger challenges, wilder ideas, and braver action because there’s nothing more fun than watching your old limits being left behind

And…I know my approach isn’t really standard across the coaching industry. In this universe, we’re playing for bold collaboration, meaningful influence, and positive-sum power—*not* cringey content conquests or cookie-cutter “rise and grind” mantras.
